Accessibility

Every studio should be able to read a spec sheet, request access and place a restock, whatever assistive technology it uses. This page says what the site does today and how to tell us when it falls short.

What is built in

• Text on every dark surface meets at least 4.5:1 contrast. Red is used for decisions and rules, never for small text.
• Body text is 16 px or larger and mono labels never go below 12 px. The layout follows the browser's text-size setting.
• Every control is reachable and operable from the keyboard, with a visible focus ring. A skip link leads to the main content.
• Motion respects the operating system's reduce-motion setting: reveals become plain fades, and the looping video, the ticker, the counters and the chapter paging stay off.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Sign-in is a one-time code by email, with no password to remember.

Standard we work to

WCAG 2.2, level AA. We check the main flows (Index, a system, a spec sheet, Access, Restock) with keyboard only and with reduce-motion on. Screen-reader review of every flow is in progress and this page will say when it is complete.

Known limits

• The Systems section on the Index pages one chapter per wheel tick or swipe. Keyboard and scrollbar keep native scrolling, and the section can be skipped with the main navigation.
• Checkout is Shopify's and follows Shopify's own accessibility statement.
