Legal notice

Effective 21 September 2026. This notice identifies who operates blackkoisupply.com and who is responsible for what appears on it. Words such as studio, restock, material and lot are defined in section 1 of the Terms of supply.

2. Registration and tax identifiers

A studio that needs registration or tax identifiers for its own records may ask for them at contact@blackkoisupply.com, quoting the restock number. We answer within the response times on the Contact page.

Email is the channel for every request, including legal notices, data-protection requests and reports about a material. Response times are listed on the Contact page.

4. Responsibility for the content

BlackKoi Supply, at the contact details in section 3, is responsible for the content of this site and is the addressee for notices to the operator.

5. Hosting, payments and delivery

• Hosting and checkout: Shopify Inc., 151 O'Connor Street, Ground Floor, Ottawa, Ontario K2P 2L8, Canada. Shopify hosts the site, the checkout and the customer records on our behalf.
• Payments: the payment processors offered at checkout. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Delivery: the carriers named in your dispatch email, to the United States, Canada and Europe.

What each of them receives about you is described in the Privacy policy.

6. Nature of the supply

BlackKoi Supply sells professional tattoo materials to studios and licensed artists, for professional use only. The site is an invitation to order, not an offer, and nothing on it is medical, legal or regulatory advice. Each studio is responsible for complying with the federal, state and local rules that govern tattooing, hygiene and the handling of sterile, single-use materials, and for its own client care. The Terms of supply set out these responsibilities in full.

7. Copyright, trademarks and images

• The texts, layout, code and images of this site, the BlackKoi name and mark, the numbering and naming of the systems, and the Engine are the property of BlackKoi Supply or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law.
• A studio may quote our name and product descriptions to identify the materials it uses. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our written permission.
• Manufacturer names and marks that appear on spec sheets belong to their owners and are used only to identify the materials.
• Atmosphere and product imagery on this site may be studio photography or generated artwork produced for us; a spec sheet says so where it matters. Images are never a warranty of appearance.

If you believe content on this site infringes your rights, write to contact@blackkoisupply.com with the URL, a description of the work and your contact details. We answer within 5 business days.

8. Accuracy, liability and external links

• We keep the site accurate and up to date with reasonable care, but specifications, lead times, availability and prices can change, and the spec sheet and the checkout at the moment of a restock prevail over any other page.
• Our liability for the content of the site, and for a restock, is limited as set out in the Terms of supply, sections 12 and 13.
• Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

9. Accessibility

The site is built to the WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines: text keeps a contrast of at least 4.5:1, every control works from the keyboard, and animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion. If something on the site does not work for you, tell us at contact@blackkoisupply.com and we will provide the information another way and fix the page.

10. Reporting a safety concern

If a material may have harmed someone, or a seal was found broken before use, email us with URGENT at the start of the subject line, the restock number, the lot number and photos. We treat these messages first and, where a lot is affected, follow the recall procedure in the Returns & recalls policy. Adverse events may also be reported to the health authority of your state.

11. Governing law and disputes

The Terms of supply, section 17, govern the law that applies and how a dispute is handled: write to us first, and bring anything unresolved before the courts of the state in which BlackKoi Supply is registered. This site is directed at professional studios in the United States, Canada and Europe. It is a business-to-business supply, so the EU online dispute-resolution platform for consumers does not apply.
